a fear of frogs is normal, all those stories about frogs and toads giving warts, etc. plus I saw a frog eat a snake on a nature program once... YIKES!

Largely, I think the concern is the frogs, any frogs, seem shifty and may attempt to jump on a face. Any face. So perhaps they've watched aliens once too many times.

Maybe the research scientists work too hard and don't get too many chances to watch tv or read.

Saw the original alien when it came out in theatres, *squeaks walker*.
There is something to be said for seeing a movie in the theatre instead of seeing it on video.
Also saw the 2nd one too, different types of movies.
The first one was heavier on suspense but the 2nd one was more of an action movie.

If you play the AVP 2 game as a Colonial marine, its very suspenseful. They got the sound effects from the movies and its pretty creepy to go through the empty corridors with the motion detector going. When it starts pinging, something is coming your way. Can play as a Predator and as an Alien too but the suspense level is not as high.
